A suicide note has been found from his roon in which he mentioned that ' nothing to look forward to now'

Soon after Argentina faced a devastating 0-3 defeat in their FIFA World Cup Group match against Croatia on June 21, a diehard Lionel Messi fan in Kerala’s Kottayam has gone missing. A search operation is on.

A suicide note has been found from his room in which he mentioned that ‘ nothing to look forward to now’.

The fan has been identified as Dinu Alex, 30.

According to his parents, Alex was last seen watching the FIFA World Cup match and has been missing from the house since 4 a.m.

“A quick search revealed a suicide note in which he says he is leaving the world as he has nothing more to watch and see,” a local police officer told IANS.

A team of police divers and locals searched the Meenachil river that flows by Arumannoor near Kottayam.

“Yesterday, he purchased a T-shirt like the one worn by Messi and sat down to watch the match. In the morning when his mother got up at 4 a.m to prepare food for Alex, she saw that the back door of the kitchen was open and immediately called her husband,” IANS quoted a close relative as saying.

Earlier, Croatia stunned heavyweights Argentina 3-0 to qualify for the knockout stages.

Chances of Argentina to move forward in knock-out stage look bleak. But, they still can make it if –
