India's U-17 football team hair styles are way more stylish than Virat Kohli & Co. See Pics

With under 4 days to go for the kickoff, the Colts will be looking forward to strategising and strengthen their game to tackle the footballing stalwarts

All eyes are on the Indian U-17 football team who are on the cusp of creating history by participating in the World Cup Finals for the first time. India is set to host the mega event, with many touting the present Indian U-17 football squad to be one of the best ever. This tournament comes as a big opportunity for India to showcase its footballing potential as well as improve upon the sports infrastructure. But even before the start of the World Cup Finals, the Indian team, who are nicknamed the Colts, are already creating noise thanks to their super stylish hairstyles. Their hairstyles of the Amarjit Singh-led U-17 side are so uber that one is forced to draw parallels to the members of the national cricket team led by Virat Kohli.

With only under 4 days to go for the kickstart, we compare the hairstyles of 4 cricketers which are quite similar to few of the young footballers who will play at the event. Take a look:

1. Hardik Pandya and Komal Thattal:

The Sikkim-born tailor’s son has proved his mettle and is currently one of the brightest stars of the team. Thattal became the first Indian U-17 player to score against Brazil. Other than being a trendsetter on the field, Thattal also follows the latest trends when it comes to hairstyles. He is currently sporting a blonde look. Hardik Pandya, who is also quite new to the Indian cricket setup, is also known to be stylish and creative with his hairdos. Hence, the comparison!

2. MS Dhoni and Stalin:

The dead ball specialist (place-kicker) from Bengaluru is a maverick defender. He can use both his feet with equal advantage, something which is a rarity in the footballing world. Stalin is young and loves to be trendy when it comes to styling himself, just like the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni. Both the sportsmen love to experiment with different hairstyles and sport new hairdos. Also, both the sportsmen like to keep their calm on the playing field.

3. Anwar Ali and KL Rahul:

Anwar Ali joined the U-17 squad in April 2017 after he caught coach Matos’ eye when his Minerva Academy beat the national U-17 team 1-0. He marks forwards with utmost ease and then creates openings between the players strategically. All eyes will be on the defender to make fruitful passes from the defence and not allow any openings towards the home goalpost. He too likes to sport stylish hairdos just like KL Rahul from the Indian cricket team. Take a look at the below picture where both can be seen sporting a ponytail!

4. Ravindra Jadeja and Nongdamba Naorem:

The northeastern soccer star is a dependable midfielder who can change flanks at will. The Johny Depp fan hails from Manipur and aspires to be included in the Manchester United team playing for the Barclays. His hairstyle can be compared with that of Ravindra Jadeja of the Indian cricket team who is known to constantly change his hairdos.
