France Win FIFA World Cup 2018 But Mario Mandzukic Achieves Rare Feat, Trolls Hugo Lloris — Watch

Hugo Lloris, what were you thinking?

France won the FIFA World Cup 2018 final quite comprehensively against Croatia by a margin of 4-2. The opening goal of the game was an own goal from Mario Mandzukic in the 18th minute off a cross from Antoine Griezmann that was directed towards Varane. The own goal set the tone for France as they had their noses up front early in the first-half of the final.

After much drama in the first-half with Croatia equalising and then conceding a penalty, the second half was a massacre. The Frenchmen extended the lead to 4-1. However, Mandzukic tried to make amends for his blunder and in the process, etched his name in the history books.

In the 69th minute, Mandzukic decided to attack the ball as the defender played it towards the goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. The Croatian made no mistake in netting the ball in the goal when Lloris committed a blunder of gifting a goal to the opposition.
