FIFA World Cup 2018: Hvala takes about seven hours to trim his clients' hair in the faces of the world’s top two footballers

FIFA World Cup 2018 is just around the corner, football fever has gripped the entire world with lakhs of football enthusiasts gearing up for the mega event. Some have flown to Russia to witness the 32-day long tournament scheduled to start from June 14 while others have painted their houses and cars in their favourite team’s colours.

In Serbia, a hair-dresser, identified as Mario Hvala, is expressing his support for the game in a most unique way. The 35-year-old hair-dresser is clipping ‘portraits’ of stars Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo onto the back of heads of football fans in his Novi Sad salon. Hvala takes about seven hours to crop his clients’ hair into the faces of the world’s top two football players.

“The portraits are the most complex when doing the ’hair tattoos’. It takes five to seven hours,” AFP quoted Hvala as sayings.

Hvala is charging 150 euros for his creative art, while a normal trim cost around eight euros.

He further revealed that he got this idea of ‘hair tattoos’ after Serbia qualified for this year’s World Cup. Hvala’s designs have gone viral on social media and he is getting praise for his creativity from all over the world.

2018 FIFA WC will kick-start when hosts Russia take on Saudi Arabia tomorrow at Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow. 32 teams will be participating in the mega event and a total of 64 matches will be played in 12 venues located in 11 cities with finals to be held on July 15.
