Kolkata Knight Riders new U-19 recruit Shubman Gill smashed a century against Pakistan in the ongoing U-19 Cricket World Cup semi-finals against Pakistan. That surely was a testament to why the Knight Riders have invested Rs 1.8 Cr for the young Turk. 18-year-old Gill brought up his century off the penultimate ball of the Indian innings and remained unbeaten on 102* off 94 balls. His innings comprised of 7 boundaries. It seems the young Punjabi is ticking the right boxes at a very early age. Suresh Raina and others from the cricket fraternity were quick to congratulate the youngster for his brilliant ton as they took to Twitter to express it.
