Indian batsman Rohit Sharma is back in the Test circuit after more than a year’s time in the second match against Sri Lanka at the VCA Stadium, Nagpur. Rohit had a fun activity on the field where he was spotted playing with the spider cam, which is used to cover the game closely.

The incident happened after the 11th over when the camera came down and closer to the players while fielding against the Lankans. Rohit Sharma, who was fielding in the square leg region, rushed towards the camera and started playing with it.

The last Test Rohit played was against New Zealand in Indore in 2016. He has played 21 Test matches, scoring 1184 at 37, with the help of 2 centuries and 7 half centuries till date.

Earlier this day, Lankan skipper Dinesh Chandimal won the toss and opted to bat first. Ishant Sharma got the first wicket for India by removing Sadeera Samarawickrama in the fifth over. Then, Ravichandran Ashwin bowled Lahiru Thiramanne before Ravindra Jadeja trapped Angelo Mathews in front.

In the second session, Ravindra Jadeja struck for the first time in the series and removed Angelo Mathews. The Lankans lost 1 more batsmen, Dimuth Karunaratne, before the tea break. In the third session, Jadeja removed Niroshan Dickwella while Ashwin clean bowled Dasun Shanaka.
