The second day of 1st Australia vs England Ashes Test at Gabba saw the crowd not only cheering for the players on the field but also for blooming love in the stands. A man proposed to his girlfriend during the match and the people in the stadium started cheering and clapping as they got engaged.

According to several media reports, the incident happened during the second session of the second day when Michael Langridge and his girlfriend (now fiancee) Tori Roebuck were watching the game from the comfort of the pool deck. Langridge found the setting perfect to speak his heart to the girl he loves. While only wearing speedos, he proposed Tori with a ring. The boy was lucky enough that he got a big yes from her girlfriend.

It was a full house at the Gabba on the second day of the first Ashes Test. The English guests were bundled by Australia within 302 runs in the morning session. The Aussies came to bat in the second session and lost 4 wickets very early.

Before the end of the second session, Aussie skipper got his half-century and concluded his batting on 64 off 148 balls. Shaun Marsh is currently playing on 44.
