India’s wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni on November 22 paid a surprise visit to a school in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Dhoni, who was conferred the rank of honorary lieutenant colonel by the Territorial Army for his contribution in the field of cricket in 2011, visited the Army Public School in an Indian Army dress.
Chinar Corps, Indian Army, took to their official Twitter handle to post several pictures of the former Indian captain while interacting with students. They captioned the post as: “Lt Col (Hony) Mahendra Singh #Dhoni interacting with the enthusiastic children of #APS #Srinagar; emphasised upon importance of #studies and #sports.”
