The Sri Lankan spectators have matured beyond expectations in one year

Almost a year ago, Sri Lankan cricket fans had a viral meltdown at the Pallekele International Stadium after the Sri Lankan team failed to perform and the fans ended up throwing bottles in the middle of the match. The situation was so bad that Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni had to stay near the pitch to save themselves from the angry crowd.

Fast forward today, the fans have set an example for every cricket lover around the world after they stayed back and cleaned up the trash post the match.

This was Sri Lanka’s third ODI defeat in a row against South Africa but they did not let the anger take over.
