Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s name is enough to summarise one of the most orthodox cricketing styles of the present era. During the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Dhoni fought like a warrior despite having a severe back pain and his determination proved that some fuel was still left in the tank. While he was busy finding a way to victory, his cute little daughter Ziva was getting anxious to hug his father right in the middle of the game.
Like every other match, Dhoni wife Sakshi and Ziva were present at the IS Bindra International Stadium in Mohali to cheer for CSK. As soon as Dhoni stepped out to bat, Ziva urged her mother saying, “Papa ko hug karna hai (I want to hug papa.)”.
Her gestures were cute and heart-warming enough to get over 5 lakh views on the Instagram after Dhoni took to his official account to share this video.
She might have been left disappointed as it wasn’t possible that anyone could take Ziva to the ground so that she could give a hug to her father who was in the middle of the battle.

As soon as he stepped into the field, CSK fans erupted enthusiastically as they had already lost 3 wickets and they still needed to chase 141 runs out. Once he ascertained the conditions of the ground, Dhoni dealt with the bowlers in sixes and boundaries.

Dhoni fetched his highest-ever total in T20 cricket — 79 runs off 44 balls, including 5 sixes and 6 fours. Unfortunately, they fell short by mere four runs and lost their first-ever game of this season.
