The ICC Cricketer of 2017, is in hot form personally and Indians would dearly hope he can stretch that till the 2019 Cricket World Cup. That is far-fetched, but still. Apparently, he was doing a shoot with stand-up comedian Abish Matthew when the incident happened. The two were playing football on a cemented turf, we guess inside the premises of an apartment. Kohli was taking free kicks with a dustbin acting as the goalpost. The incident takes place when Kohli attempts to take a free kick with his left foot. Naturally, a righty, Kohli’s left foot failed him as he slipped and tripped, luckily he did not land flush on his head. It was a narrow escape one feels.
