IPL 2018, RCB vs SRH: Rashid Khan Flies In Air To Take One-Handed Stunner At Boundary — Watch

IPL 2018, RCB vs SRH: An amazing catch from Rashid Khan brought the end of Grandhomme's furious innings of 40 runs including 4 huge sixes and one boundary

Rashid Khan was the only man from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) whose performance on the field troubled the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsmen during Indian Premier League (IPL) match number 52. From removing Virat Kohli when he was in the midst of his furious batting to forcing AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali return to the dressing room, the Afghan spin-wizard rocked the Chinnaswamy Stadium with the ball. And when it came to fielding, he probably took one of the best catches of his T20 career to get rid of Collin de Grandhomme who had been creating mayhem.

The incident took place in the 2oth over when the Kiwi all-rounder was inching towards his fifty and RCB were on their way to post a huge score on the board. Grandhomme, who was batting on 40, went for another lofted shot. Unfortunately, Rashid, who was already posted at the deep mid-wicket area, jumped a bit and plucked the ball from thin air, that too, single-handedly.

Earlier this evening, Virat Kohli had to bat first after losing the toss. The opening pair of Parthiv Patel and Virat Kohli failed to give a good start. However, this failure was overshadowed by some magnificent batting performances from AB de Villiers (69) and Moeen Ali, followed by De Grandhomme and Sarfraz Khan (22*). RCB posted a huge total of 218 runs after losing six wickets.
