During a recent promotional event, the CSK players were candidly asked which era witnessed the best quality of cricket played. It seemed everybody was tossing the mic to one another, trying to duck the question. But finally, it was decided that Tahir would answer. He was confused as the question was impromptu, but it seems he consulted Lungisani Ngidi before giving the answer.

But his answer surely won the hearts of all CSK fans. He said, “I am not sure about the difference but one thing I can say for sure is that the CSK team is the best ever.”
