David Warner couldn't stop celebrating after taking a blinder to dismiss Shikhar Dhawan -- Watch Video

After beating India by 8 wickets, David Warner and his yellow army have levelled the series by 1-1 and are still alive in the tournament

The 2nd India vs Australia T20I played in Guwahati turned out to be a reason for celebration for Australia who recently lost the ODI series by 4-1. The Australians left no stone unturned to beat India and make a comeback in the series after losing the first rubber in Ranchi. The bowlers bamboozled the Indian batting line-up and restricted team India at a low total of 118 runs. The guests also exhibited some extraordinary fielding heroics while one of them was David Warner’s brilliant catch to dismiss Shikhar Dhawan at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

After winning the toss, David Warner elected to bowl first. Jason Behrendorff, who was playing just the 2nd T20I, gave a massive shock to the hosts after dismissing Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli right in the first over of the game. In the 5th over, Behrendorff bowled a good length delivery to which Shikhar Dhawan stepped down the line and lofted the ball towards the mid-on boundary.

David Warner tracked the ball, turned quickly and grabbed it stunningly. The Aussies were more than and so was Behrendorff who claimed his 4th scalp. On the other, Team India were reduced to 26/4 and the Indian dressing was full of disappointed faces.

No Indian batsman could even score more than 20 runs except Kedar Jadhav (27) and Hardik Pandya (25). The tailenders including Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar tried their best to score as many runs as possible towards the end. However, the entire Indian batting line-up collapsed within 118 runs.

After beating India by 8 wickets, David Warner and his yellow army have levelled the series by 1-1 and are still alive in the tournament. The last match will be the decider which is scheduled to be played in Hyderabad on October 13, 2017.
