Prabhas beats Salman Khan and Aamir Khan as Baahubali 2 emerges fastest Rs 300 crore Indian blockbuster

Baahubali 2, after becoming India's first Rs 1000 crore churner at the Box Office, has also beaten the records of Salman Khan and Aamir Khan's films

The unthinkable has just happened. Telugu actor Prabhas’ last week release, Baahubali: The Conclusion has emerged as the fastest Rs 300 crore Indian blockbuster. Directed by SS Rajamouli and jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao, and Prasad Devineni, the war drama features the Telugu superstar in dual roles as father Amarendra Baahubali and son Mahendra Baahubali.

Baahubali 2 is on a record breaking spree ever since it released to historical collections at the Box Office worldwide. On Sunday, the film crossed the coveted Rs 300 crore mark to become the fastest Indian blockbuster at the Box Office. The Hindi dubbed version of the Prabhas blockbuster has overtaken the likes of Aamir Khan’s PK and Dangal and Salman Khan’s Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan to do so. It’s a remarkable feat considering that Baahubali 2 has hit the triple century in just 10 theatrical days.

At the end on the second weekend, the total collections of Hindi version of Baahubali 2 now stands at a massive Rs 325 crore. Also, it has to be noted that Baahubali 2 has broken the life-time collections of Salman Khan’s blockbusters Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan within 10 days of its theatrical run as well. The film is currently at the third position in the list of all-time Hindi grossers. The top two slots were occupied by Aamir Khan blockbusters Dangal and PK, which are sure to be broken by Baahubali 2 within next few days.
