Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Bairavaa strikes gold even before its release

Ilayathapathy Vijay's Bairavaa has emerged as the 3rd highest South Indian film to have done something which only Baahubali and Kabali could do so far.

The much-awaited Tamil film of 2017, Bairavaa starring Ilayathalapathy Vijay is already minting money for its makers, Vijaya Productions. The film stars Keerthy Suresh – of Remo fame – as well as Jagapati Babu, Aparna Vinod, YG Mahendraa and Daniel Balaji.

Earlier, there were reports that the entire Tamil Nadu distribution rights of Bairavaa have been sold to Sri Green Productions for a record price.

However, Bairavaa has again started minting crores for the makers as the Kerala rights have been sold at an unbelievable price. Reportedly, the Kerala distribution rights of the Vijay starrer have been sold to a leading distribution company for a whopping Rs. 7.30 crore. With this huge deal, Bairavaa emerges as the third highest South Indian film to do so. The previous top two spots were occupied by Baahubali and Kabali.
