Hooking up with your partner can be fun. A romantic date followed by a cuddling session (ehmm) is just what you need to keep the flame alive. But imagine, you wake up one morning and you have a hickey or better yet several hickeys on your neck. Let’s face it, wearing scarfs and turtleneck shirts can only get you so far. And in case you happen to live in a place where summer never ends, that scarf will have to come off eventually. This can leave you in an embarrassing situation before your colleagues.

The thing about hickeys is that they take time to heal. And of course, you can’t attend your class or office with that mark on the neck. So what other alternatives do you have? Ya makeup is one of the alternatives but think about your skin for once. So, to help you out, here’s a list of simple ways that you can use to get rid of a hickey in no time:

Admittedly, this might sound crazy but it is just as effective. Use a toothbrush and gently brush the affected area in circular motion. This will help the blood to circulate and make the hickey less prominent in minutes. But avoid pressing too hard, else you will end up damaging your skin.

6) Use toothpaste
