Why 'No Pain No Gain' is considered to be utmost bodybuilding motivation?

2016 Mr. Olympia - Phil Heath believes in 'No Pain, No Gain'

Bodybuilding is an art in which today’s pain turns into tomorrow’s gain, ask 2016 Mr. Olympia – Phil Heath. The 36-year-old American professional bodybuilder from Seattle is passionate about bodybuilding. He won the Mr. Olympia title for the first time back in 2011. Heath has successfully defended the title of Mr. Olympia consecutively five times since then. He remains as an inspiration to all the bodybuilders out there.

Phil’s motivation is ‘No Pain No Gain’. Health equalled British professional bodybuilder Dorian Yates’ record of 6 Mr. Olympia wins this year. Heath reiterates that training his body in the gym on a regular basis is not his formality, it is his diet. He wishes to retain the Mr. Olympia title for as long as he can. Heath trains daily at the ‘Armbrust Pro Gym’ in Colorado.

Heath owns a fitness apparel company called ‘Gifted Athletics’, a name derived from the champion’s nickname – ‘The Gift’. He is also known as ‘The Next Big Thing’ in the bodybuilding industry. Heath alongside Joey Firestone introduced ‘Gifted Nutrition’, a supplement company. By doing so, he became the first ever professional bodybuilder to head up his own sports nutrition company while still competing in it.

Even the legend – Arnold Schwarzenegger acknowledges the fact that he is a force to be reckoned with!

Phil Heath was already a pro bodybuilder, Mr. Olympia simply turned the American beast into a legend!
