Yeah, yeah, we know. You’re not allowed to eat non-vegetarian food during Navaratri and even the crow of a rooster early in the morning is making your family hysterical. We’re all in the same boat.

But who says you need chicken to seduce your palette?

So, if you’re stuck between eating the boring sabudana khichdi and kuttu ki poori, then we’ve covered you some places where you can visit and gorge on food that are specially curated for Navaratri. Besides the regular thalis, you can enjoy some International cuisines as well.

1. Drunken Botanist

Drunken Botanist is serving special Bento Box which you can, of course, enjoy without breaking the fast. The cafe is offering Indian Bento Box, Asian Bento Box, and European Bento Box. These boxes cost Rs 599, Rs 699 and Rs 799 respectively.

The Indian Bento Box includes Paneer Roulade, Soya Keema Spring Roll, Palak Patte Ki Chaat, Khatta Meetha Kaddu Ki Sabzi, and Barnyard Millet Kheer; while the Asian Bento Box has Rice Paper Roll, Millet Dumplings, Seaweed Salad, Vegetarian Sushi Roll, Tofu Teriyaki, Yakisoba Noodles, and fresh fruit. The European Bento Box contains Hummus & Lavash, Potato and Banana Croquettes, Mini Tostadas, Corn Cracker Bruschetta, and Artichoke, Quinoa Couscous and more.

2. Tanoshii Trail

This Navratri, try some oriental food at Tanoshii Trail as they are offering an exotic array of dishes that won’t break your fast. The four-course veg special menu includes some interesting dishes like Upside Down Cucumber Nigiri, Wok Tossed Corn, Water Chestnut, Assorted Vegetables and Tofu in Mala Sauce. The special menu is priced for Rs 999++.

3. Gastronomica

Gastronomica’s special Navratra menu includes Sago and Quinoa Bhelpuri, Arbi and Anardana Galawat served with Varqi and Kuttu Parantha. They have introduced their special Navratri menu which also includes Apple, Celery and Cinnamon Cold Soup, Honey Roasted Pumpkin and Water Chestnut Tortellini, Sweet Potato Gnocchi, Sumac Rice Risotto with Asparagus, Broccoli and Parmesan Crisp, Buckwheat Flour Tacos and Mishti Doi Panna Cotta. Dishes start at Rs 249.

4. The Poke Bar

The Poke Bar at Guppy has come up with six scrumptious vegetarian bowls as a part of their Navratri specials. They have introduced a special vegetarian menu, including dishes like Three Tomato Poke, Dressed Palm Heart Poke, Asparagus and Beet Poke, Tossed Apple & Pineapple Poke, and more.
