#HumFitTohIndiaFit Is Trending, Thanks To Sports Minister's Fitness Challenge

After challenges like #SwachhBharatAbhiyan and #bangbangdare that took Twitter by storm, here’s another one and it is all about staying fit.

Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore went on to Twitter to post a video in which he is doing push-ups in his office while speaking about the importance of fitness. Our Sports Minister is also an Olympic silver medallist in shooting. He started a campaign #HumFitTohIndiaFit through the video.

Rathore invited people to post pictures and videos of their fitness attempts and regimes on Twitter using the hashtag #FitnessChallenge and at the same time challenged Virat Kohli, Hrithik Roshan and Saina Nehwal. While some people responded quite quickly to the challenge, a few are yet to post their video.

Saina quickly responded and invited Rana Daggubati, PV Sindhu and Gautam Gambhir:

Even Hrithik shared a video that shows him cycling

Besides them, some of our ministers showed their fitness regime too. While Jayant Sinha, MoS for Civil Aviation, performed Surya Namaskar, Manoj Tiwari, BJP Delhi Chief, tried some stretching and push-ups. Pratyush Kanth, Delhi BJP Social Media in-charge did some crunches.

Rathore has really been appreciated for the initiative and a lot of engagement can be seen. Check out what Twitteratti are posting:
