How you came up with the idea?

As we believe that great fashion is not only for those living in metros and can purchase apparels from brands but also for those who live in Tier II and Tier III cities and we are taking this effort to make online shopping reach them. We wanted to make a platform where people can get great fashion choices at a price which does not have a heavy toll on their pockets.

What made you go for the name Sarojini Nagar?

Many people ask us why Sarojini Nagar and we have just one thing to tell them because the market is a reflection of our idea; to make great fashion affordable for all.

Are your products long-lasting as compared to Sarojini Nagar’s maal?

We do not compromise on the quality of the product for providing a cheap price. Apart from the name, we give special attention to our products and their quality. We source our products from Sarojini Nagar vendors as well as from other factories who manufacture and export garments.

What is your long-term plan to be in the business?

The larger aim is to encompass everything that Sarojini Nagar provides, including t-shirts, dresses, pants, palazzos, bags, sandals, shoes, junk jewellery, accessories and whatever else you find in your very own Sarojini Nagar market.

Well, most of the products on their website onlinesarojininagar.com are priced between Rs 300 – Rs 400. Also, they don’t have anything special on their website as of now, neither have any huge collection to choose from.
