Remedy: Consume 2-3 cloves of garlic daily on an empty stomach. Massaging your back with the garlic oil also works as a reliever.
How to make garlic oil: Heat some mustard oil on low flame and add 9-10 cloves of garlic to it. Fry the garlic until it turns brown. Now strain the oil and store it in a bottle for massage.
Ginger: The anti-inflammatory compounds in ginger gives relief from a backache.
Remedy: Apply some ginger paste on the affected area, followed by eucalyptus oil. Drinking lukewarm ginger water also serves the purpose.
Herbal oil massage: If the correct muscle is targeted, massage can provide instant relief from back pain.
Remedy: You can use any herbal oil such as eucalyptus oil, almond oil or olive oil. Heat the oil until warm and massage it gently over the aching area.
Use Epsom Salt baths: An Epsom salt bath is known to relieve inflammation and ease the pain. It works its way through the skin into sore muscles.
Remedy: Fill the bathtub with lukewarm water and add a few handfuls of epsom salt to it for a bath.
Stretch: Stretch relieves pain by loosening up the tense muscle.
