Watch: After BSF, now CRPF jawan exposes hardship they face

In the video, he urges Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in the present situation and resolve the matter as soon as possible.

Days after the BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Singh revealed the hardships they face on-duty at the border in a video, a CRPF constable posted at Mount Abu uploaded a video in which he explains the differences in the facilities given to the armed security forces.

CRPF constable Jeet Singh, hailing from Mathura’s Sahuja Thok village, put a video on January 11 in which he claims that despite of putting more hours comparatively into our duties. the facilities provided to the CRPF personnel are not at par with the ones provided to the Indian Army. In the video, he urges Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in the present situation and resolve the matter as soon as possible.

Jeet also mentioned that the CRPF jawans are asked to attend various tasks, right from securing any religious event to being on election duty, but still they are deprived of the facilities. He said,”Army personnel receive medical and canteen facilities but nothing comes in part of the CRPF jawans. After retirement, we are not even given ex-servicemen quota which could help us getting a job.”

He asserted that the government spends ample amount of money over the government school teachers and they also get enough holidays. He further questioned if CRPF jawans do not deserve such facilities. He urged the people to watch and share the video for it to go viral so that their problems could be heard.

CRPF director general Durga Prasad responded to the video stating that Jeet Singh has not complained about any organisation but has spoken only his desires. “Whatever Jeet Singh said were the issues that are already discussed and had taken to the 7 pay commission,” he said.

On January 9, BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav shared the reality of living at the frontlines. He says how they are not being fed properly because of the corruption at top levels- the services and life that a jawan is entitled to has gone for a toss.

But the very next day, the BSF denied all the allegations raised by the BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav and had said that he has gone through a difficult past and had a drinking problem. He even alleged that the BSF jawan used to remain absent on various occasions counselling regularly.
