Kumar had reportedly not even responded to the summon by the Mumbai police who had asked him to give his statement. Mumbai police had lodged a molestation case against Kumar which invokes sections 354 A and 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

This entire ruckus began when a woman blogger by the name of Indian Fowler wrote about her alleged experience in the company. However, the company denied the sexual harassment allegations against the company and asserted that they will cooperate in every way to get to the crux of the matter. Last month, as many as 50 women came forward to complain against Kumar. The company also received criticism from several quarters for not being able to handle the situation correctly.

“We will leave no stone unturned to find the author of the article and bring them to serve justice for making such false allegations,” TVF said in a statement. Kumar further affirmed that he welcomes any kind of investigation in the matter.

Meanwhile, just after the reports of molestation allegations against Arunabh Kumar surfaced, it was reported that Scoopwhoop co-founder Suparn Pandey had been accused of workplace sexual harassment. The company asserted that action will be taken if Suparn was found guilty.
