At least 70 killed in suicide attack in Pakistan

About 70 people were killed and over 150 others injured in a suicide blast at a popular Sufi shrine of saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Pakistan’s Sindh province on February 16 evening. Delhi boy offered Rs 71 lakh package by Uber

US based cab aggregator Uber has offered a whopping package of USD 1,10,000 (nearly Rs. 71 lakh) to a student of Delhi Technological University (DTU). Siddharth, an alumunus of Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj and a final year student of Compute science at DTU, was offered the position of software engineer at the San-Francisco office of the global giant. Printing of Rs 2000 notes began during ex-RBI governor Rajan’s tenure

The newly launched 2,000 rupee notes came into circulation a few days after prime minister Narendra Modi outlawed the higher currency notes, bearing signature of its newly appointed RBI governor Urjit Patel but it has emerged that these high value notes were printed during the stint of his predecessor Raghuram Rajan.
