A toll operator at Kherki Daula toll plaza in Gurugram was verbally abused and assaulted after she denied free passage to a commuter. The woman was attacked on Thursday, December 7 at around 11 AM.
According to a report by the Indian Express, the woman was doing her duty as usual when an aggressive commuter confronted her. He got out of the car and also hurled abuses at her. When she objected, he threatened to kill her. The man has been identified as Kuldeep Yadav from Shikohpur.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV camera. The footage shows the accused arguing with the woman after which he attempted to hit her multiple times. The woman also alleged that the attacker threatened to tear her clothes.
Police have registered a case and have launched an investigation.

A similar incident happened last month when unidentified men molested a female official at the Kherki Daula toll plaza after she asked them to pay the toll tax. The men claimed that they belonged to a political party and must be exempted from paying the toll tax, PTI reported.
