When not starring in movies, Sunny Leone seems to be applying for government engineering jobs. At least, that’s what a merit list for engineering recruits in Bihar indicates. In the provisional merit list released by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Bihar on February 20, the maximum marks are obtained by a candidate named ‘Sunny Leone’.
The candidate is listed as a 27-year-old unmarried woman who has 5 years of work experience. Her father is Leona Leone and she belongs to the unreserved category. She topped the merit list with a score of 98.5 by obtaining 73.5 points based on her academic record and a full 25 points based on her work experience.
According to Joint Secretary, PHED, Ashok Kumar, this seems to be a prank. He told The Indian Express,
“This is a mischief (sic) done by someone. The list has been uploaded as it is based on the data received by the candidates. Whoever filled their name, fathers’ name and other details in the application form, the list shows the same as is and no data has been entered by the department.”

This doesn’t seem to be the only prank on the list. The candidate who ranks third is a 23-year-old man named ‘bvcxzbnnb’ and his father is ‘mggvghhnnnn’.
‘Sunny Leone’ and ‘bvcxzbnnb’ are one of 17,911 candidates who registered for the exam. A total of 214 vacancies are to be filled by the recruitment exam. For the next round, 642 candidates will be shortlisted based on their score but for that, the shortlisted candidates will have to produce documents to justify the information as displayed in the list. According to Kumar, the department will then weed out miscreants. It has given a window to candidates to correct the information provided in their application which is open till February 24.
