Sonia Gandhi discharged from Sir Ganga Ram hospital

She was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram hospital three months ago too.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi who was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital following high fever on Tuesday was discharged today.

Sonia Gandhi was admitted to hospital Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the national capital on Tuesday as she was reportedly suffering from viral fever.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala had confirmed the news asserting that she was recovering under medical supervision and there was no reason to worry. He had also said that Sonia Gandhi might have to be admitted to the hospital for two days.

Gandhi was also supposed to undergo few tests following the viral fever. Sonia Gandhi has been keeping unwell for quite some time now.

This came nearly three months after she was admitted to Ganga Ram hospital where she was undergoing a treatment for dehydration and shoulder injury. The Congress Chief was discharged from the hospital after being admitted for over 11 days.

She had left the roadshow in Varanasi halfway after she had dislocated her left shoulder during the rally. She was first admitted to the Army Research and Referral Hospital but was later shifted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi.

She also had to undergo a surgery the same day.
