Really happy that India took action: Daughter of Uri attack martyr

Wife and daughter of Uri terror attack martyr say they are happy that Indian army carried out surgical strikes

After the Indian army officially affirmed about the surgical operation along the Line of Control (LoC) reactions appreciating the operation flowed across the country.

Daughter of SK Vidyarthi who was martyred in the Uri attack said, “I am happy that Indian army initiated and conducted these strikes.” Her mother said that she was happy but would have been happier if the strike was carried out earlier. The widow of the martyred soldier commended the surgical strike as “very good”.

Indian army carried out surgical strikes along the LoC targeting the terror launchpad where seven launch pads were under surveillance for a week. The strike came after Uri terror attack which left 18 Indian soldiers dead on September 18. The attack is considered as one of the deadliest on Indian army.

The surgical strikes were carried out as a response to the Uri terror attack. Earlier, after the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that action will be taken against those involved in the attack. After Thursday’s attack senior BJP leader and minister Venkaiah Naidu said that the PM has reassured the country and action is taken against the terror groups.

The surgical strikes were carried out along the LoC where seven terror launch pads were under surveillance. Two Pakistani soldiers were killed and nine were injured in the strike by the Indian army. No casualties were reported from the Indian side as the terror groups were taken by surprise. The surgical strikes razed the seven terror launch pads across the LoC.
