A truck carrying the mortal remains of six CRPF jawans who lost their lives in a deadly encounter with Naxals was stopped in order to allow the convoy of Bihar chief Minister Nitish Kumar to pass. Days after the attack took place, a video has emerged that shows the CM’s convoy passing just as the truck waits for the convoy to pass by in Patna

According to reports, Nitish Kumar was returning from an event in Patna. The bodies of the CRPF jawans were being taken from the Patna airport to their hometown when they asked to stop. Nitish Kumar along with the deputy chief minister of the state, Tejaswi was attending the foundation day event of the Bihar Road Development Corporation near the Patna airport. However, the officials have denied the allegations of the convoy being stopped.

BJP’s Sushil Kumar Modi came forward to lash out at Nitish Kumar asserting that the CM was “enjoying a movie” and did not bother to go and pay tribute to the jawans who attained martyrdom in the attack. He further said that his minister Tejaswi Yadav also did not pay tribute to the CRPF jawans.

At least 25 CRPF jawans were killed and several others were left injured after over 300 Naxals opened fire at them while 150 jawans were guarding an under construction road in the Sukma area of Chhattisgarh.
