Watch: Here's what Kumar Vishwas said that 'shook Arvind Kejriwal to the core'

In the 13-minute long video, Kumar Vishwas spoke on a range of issues - from Kashmir to Pakistan, and also 'criticized' AAP over some issues.

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas created a stir after he uploaded a video on Twitter, in which he also criticized the AAP government and chief minister Arvind Kejriwal without naming them. In the 13-minute long video, Vishwas spoke on a range of issues – from Kashmir to Pakistan – he virtually indicted the Delhi government for trying to protect its own when they come under the corruption scanner.

“If in Delhi you form a government on the anti-corruption plank with the promise of freedom from corruption and fall silent and try to protect your own people when they come under the scanner, you will be questioned by people,” he said.

In the video, Vishwas also claimed that important issues that our affecting our country are being drowned out by chants of “Modi, Modi and Arvind, Arvind”. “We are too busy chanting `Modi, Modi… Arvind, Arvind… Rahul, Rahul… Modi raj aa gaya, Yogi raj aa gaya… AK raj aa gaya…” he added.

Interestingly, Kejriwal retweeted the video saying, “Bohot shandaar video. Andar tak hilaa deta hai. Zaroor dekhein (Brilliant video that will shake you to the core. Must watch).”

Kumar Vishwas also expressed his displeasure over the “humiliation” of jawans in the Valley, a reference to a recent video that showed a protester kicking a soldier in the shin.

While speaking on farmer suicides, Vishwas spoke about the incident when a Rajasthan farmer, Gajendra Singh, committed suicide during an AAP rally at Jantar Mantar. “Hum jantar mantar pe baithe the. Hamare saamne bhi ek kisaan phaansi pe jhool gaya tha. Hamein bhi neend aana band hogayi thi. Lekin kya ispe koi corrective measures utha sakta hai? (A farmer committed suicide in front of us when we were at Jantar Mantar. We couldn’t sleep for some time after that. But can some correct measures be taken on the issue?)” he questioned. The senior AAP leader then critcised the government for failing to recover the debt from large corporate holdings.

Vishwas’s video assumes significance in the wake of the Rajouri Garden bypoll debacle, where AAP even lost the deposit. AAP’s Harjeet Singh managed to get only 10,243 votes.

Meanwhile, in a bid to rubbish the reports of differences between AAP and Kumar Vishwas, Kejriwal said that there’s no rift between him and Vishwas. To clarify that there’s also no rift between the party and Vishwas, Kejriwal targeted the media by saying that they are the ones who have blown up this issue.
