Theft in Manish Sisodia's office, computers, letterhead go missing

The theft occurred on Friday morning and the thieves have taken away two computers along with several important documents and letterhead.

Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s office was left in shock on December 30 when important documents, computers and letterheads were stolen.

The theft occurred on Friday morning post which the authorities informed that the thieves had taken away two computers. Further, it was also reported by the office that several important documents and official letterhead were also missing.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s office, where the episode occurred, is situated in Delhi’s east Vinod Nagar.

Immediately after the incident, Delhi Police was informed about the loot and they reached Sisodia’s office in no time. At the time of theft, Manish Sisodia was not present in the office premises. The investigations for the alleged theft are still in process.

Investing officer to this case, senior police officer Omvir Singh said,”There was a robbery at the Patparganj office of Deputy CM late night on Thursday. The exact time is not yet known,”

Before the thieves could ransack the area, they allegedly cut through a wire mesh, picked the lock and turned the CCTV cameras away. The CCTV recordings were also stolen.
