Indore Bags Cleanest City Award For Third Time In A Row

The Swachh Survekshan prize was presented to the city by President Ram Nath Kovind

Indore has been crowned the cleanest city in India for the third consecutive year. The 2nd prize went to Chattisgarh’s Ambikapur and Mysore in Karnataka was given the 3rd prize.

The Swachh Survekshan prize was presented to the city by President Ram Nath Kovind. The Centre conducted a cleanliness survey, conferring New Delhi Municipal Council with the ‘Cleanest Small City’ award.

The ‘Best Ganga Town’ award was given to Gauchar, a town in Uttarakhand. Several other cities received a memento for dedicatedly working towards cleanliness.
