Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s daughter, Ketki is getting married to Aditya Kaskhedikar, who’s working for social media giant Facebook today. It is quite certain that the wedding and the wedding reception will witness the presence of some of the big names including Home Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP president Amit Shah, HRD minister Prakash Javadekar and Meneka Gandhi.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetisation drive has had a major impact on the weddings taking place across the nation, this particular wedding does not seem to be affected much, considering the preparations being made for the wedding.
As per reports, over 10,000 guests are scheduled to mark their presence in the wedding and the wedding reception. Also, 50 charter planes are arranged to fly down these guests to the wedding and is also said to ferry around Nagpur, a leading news daily reported.
The two-week winter session of the Maharashtra will make easier for the lawmakers to make it to the wedding. As per reports, it is believed to be an arranged marriage.
The wedding will take place in Nagpur and the wedding reception which is scheduled to take place on8 December will be held in the national capital.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his wife are also reportedly going to be present on the day of the wedding.
The menu is said to have traditional Maharashtrian dishes including puran poli, bharit, masale bhat, jhunka bhakar apart from the regular dishes.
It is also being reported that Nitin Gadkari has sent out a personal invitation to opposition leaders including Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. Gadkari has also invited the Chief Ministers of several states.
