Demonetisation row continues to disrupt Parliament, Lok Sabha adjourned for the day

The winter session of Parliament has been a complete washout until now because of the demonetisation debate

Parliament resumed on Wednesday after a four-day hiatus but was yet again adjourned for the day due to chaos over demonetisation. The Congress-led Opposition seems to be in no mood to spare the Narendra Modi government with party vice president Rahul Gandhi saying that he would create an earthquake if he is given a chance to speak in the House.

The Opposition was seen raising slogans of “Modi sarkar hosh me aao” in Lok Sabha on Wednesday. While addressing the media in the Central Hall of Parliament, Rahul said he has clear proof and personal information of Narendra Modi’s involvement in corruption. He then alleged that the BJP is not allowing them to speak because they are terrified of him.

It also appears that the Opposition is all geared up to raise the alleged scam involving Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju, whose name recently figured in the Rs 450 crore construction scam of two dams for the Kameng Hydro Electric Project in Arunachal Pradesh.

The winter session of Parliament has been a complete washout until now because of the demonetisation debate.
