CBSE Topper 2017 for Class 12th is Noida's Raksha Gopal. Here are toppers from last few years

Central Board of Secondary Education has declared Class 12th CBSE results on May 28. CBSE Topper 2017 for Class 12th is Raksha Gopal from Noida's Amity International School, she has topped the board by scoring 99.6%

As the much-awaited results of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of Class XII are finally out, the students can now check their results on CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in. The Board has declared the results at 10:20 am on May 28 (Sunday). With the announcement of results, the confusion over moderation or no moderation policy has also ended. Due to, many visitors on the site there are chances the site might get a little slow but there is no need to panic.

This year, Raksha Gopal has topped the board by scoring 99.6%, she is from Amity International School.  Also, let’s take a look at the students who have topped the exam in last few year.

CBSE Class 12 topper, 2016: Last year, Sukriti a student of Delhi’s Montfort School in Ashok Vihar had topped the exam by securing 99.4% in the exams. She scored 497 out of 500 marks. In Physics and Chemistry her score was perfect 100 and in English, Mathematics and Computer Science she got 99 marks each. After securing the first spot, Sukriti said, “I was sure of my performance but did not expect to top the exams. This was certainly beyond my expectations”.

CBSE Class 12 topper, 2015:  This year the first position was secured by M. Gayatri, a student of New Green Fields school in Saket, New Delhi, who scored 99.2 percent marks. Out of 500, she scored 496 marks. She scored 100 marks each in Maths, Business Studies, Accounts and 98 marks each in Economics and English. After achieving this feat, she said, “I have not devoted any extra hours to studies. But, I have been regular and constant in my studies. I studied every day”.

CBSE Class 12 topper 2014: The All India topper this year was Sarthak Agarwal, a student of Delhi Public School (Vasant Kunj) who scored 99.6 percent. After securing the first rank in CBSE class 12th across India, Sarthak Agarwal said, “I did not take any tuition. My focus was on quality of hours I spent on studying,”
