Finally the wait is over! The results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2016 are out. The candidates can check the CAT 2016 results on the official website – iimcat.ac.in. This year the test was conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Bangalore and was held on December 4.
This year 2,32,434 applications received for CAT 2016 as against 2,18,664 registrations for the test last year.
The CAT scores are used for admissions in various Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and other Business Schools.

Background:
The IIMs started this exam and use the test for selecting students for their business administration programs. The test is conducted every year by one of the IIMs based on a policy of rotation.
