CLAT 2017 results, merit lists to be announced today on clat.ac.in

Once the CLAT 2017 results are out, the first set allocation list based on merit-cum-preference will be published on June 5, 2017, on the official website

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2017 final results are all set to be out today on the official website Clat.ac.in. at 2 pm in the afternoon. The Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), the conducting body of CLAT 2017, will be declaring the merit list category wise. This year the exams for CLAT were conducted on May 14, 2017, which was computer based. The candidates appearing for this exams would be applying for undergraduate and postgraduate law courses in 18 National Law Universities on the merit basis.

Earlier on may 16, the initial answer keys were released while the final and amended answer keys were declared on May 25 on the website. Finally today, the results will be out today which has been made based on the amended answer key.

Once the results are out, the first set allocation list based on merit-cum-preference will be published on June 5, 2017, on the website.

The second list declared will be the list of waitlisted candidates who will be provisionally selected against the candidates dropped earlier. The additional candidates will have to pay a counselling fee of Rs. 50,00 through which they could preserve their seats within the given time June 13 & 14, 2017.

The third indicative list will be University-wise and will also be based on merit list. This list will be published on the official CLAT website June 19, 2017. The third list of waitlisted candidates will again be declared and they will be preferred in place of the dropped out candidates. The additional candidates will have to pay a counselling fee of Rs. 50,00 through which they could preserve their seats within the given time June 20 & 21, 2017.

The candidates failing to confirm their seat within the mentioned time will be dropped from the CLAT 2017 Merit List. June 21, 2017, is the last date to withdraw from the Admission process. The counselling fee of those candidates will be refunded after a deduction of Rs. 10,000.

No refund of counselling fee after the last date of withdrawal of admission.
