BJP's Manoj Tiwari thanks Delhiites with 1 ladoo per family for putting up with demonetisation

BJP workers will go door to door from 1 January, 2017 to distribute sweets.

Well well, there is good news for those standing outside cash dry ATMs and banks. At least in Delhi. Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari has come up with a brilliant idea to praise and thank citizens affected by demonetisation policy.

“Despite facing some inconvenience, people supported the move. Now, it is our turn to thank them and show our appreciation and respect for their patience,” Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari told The Indian Express, while praising the PM’s revolutionary move.

BJP leaders in Delhi will go door to door from January 1 to January 10 to distribute sweets. However, the quantity of ladoo promised  may leave you little disappointed. Only one ladoo per family.

This is what the new chief, who is also a former Bhojpuri actor was  quoted as saying by The Indian Express.

“If people can stand in queues and not complain, can’t we give them a ladoo as a token of our appreciation.”

“One ladoo to your neighbour will not hurt. Rather, it shows how grateful we are to them for the patience they have shown by supporting the Prime Minister’s decision… We will request our workers to come forward and buy at least one ladoo for their neighbour. If they want to buy five ladoos for five households, it will be even better.”

We hope the ladoo-scheme works out well for BJP and wipes away the bitter taste that demonetisation has left in the mouths of citizens.
