The high-level Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting of Aam Admi Party (AAP) is underway at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Its leaders including deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Ashutosh and Kumar Vishwas are part of the meeting. On Tuesday, various efforts were made by the party members to make Kumar Vishwas attend the meeting.
Amid speculations that Kumar Vishwas might be on his way to leave the party, sources close to him said he has put three conditions in front of Kejriwal so as to stay in the party.
- Zero tolerance towards corruption.
- His suggestion should be taken in every decision that might effect party workers. And those should not be taken only by the top brass of he party.
- He will not apologise for ‘We the nation video’.
Kumar Vishwas on Monday did not attend AAP’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting. After which, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal drove down to Ghaziabad to meet his colleague. After meeting Vishwas, Kejriwal who was also accompanied by Manish Sisodia said, “Kumar Vishwas is an integral part of our movement. He has some grudges. We will convince him”. All three of them including Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh then headed towards Kejriwal’s residence on Flagstaff Road.
Earlier, AAP leader Kumar Vishwas had threatened to quit after party member Amanatullah Khan accused him of being an RSS-BJP agent. Meanwhile, Khan on Monday tendered his resignation from the party’s Political
Affairs Committee (PAC).
