500 kg Egyptian woman, Eman Ahmed, known to be the heaviest woman in the world is undergoing treatment in Mumbai. She’s been watching a number of Bollywood films in the hospital lately, especially the films starring the Bollywood superstars—Amir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Out of the three, Eman has said that she would like to meet the Dabangg star, Salman Khan.
She has told her city-based bariatric surgeon Muffazal Lakdawala that she would like to meet Salman Khan. Her doctor also said that Eman loves Hindi songs and is spending her time watching Hindi channels since there are not many Arabic channels on Indian Television.
Mid-Day reported that Salman Khan’s Salim Khan said that the actor will meet her as soon as he received the official request.
“We have learnt of her desire. Salman will certainly meet her. An actor would to [sic] go to any lengths to fulfil the desire of such a patient. But so far, we haven’t received any official request from the hospital. As soon as we receive one, Salman will go to meet her,” the daily quoted Salim Khan as saying. Following which, her doctor said that he will soon send a message to Salman Khan requesting him to meet Eman.
Eman, who has not moved out of her house for 25 years, would be under observation for about a month before she undergoes surgery.
Eman was accompanied by Aparna Govil Bhasker, an Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgeon at Centre of Obesity and Digestive Surgery and Head of Department of Bariatric surgery at Saifee hospital, and Kamlesh Bohra, Senior Intensivist, Department of Critical and Intensive Care at Saifee Hospital in Mumbai.
