Anushka Sharma has been trying new things to promote her upcoming film Phillauri. Here's how Shah Rukh Khan is helping her

So, Anushka Sharma is leaving no stone unturned to promote her upcoming film Phillauri. And guess what? She even managed to rope in superstar Shah Rukh Khan to promote her film. We all know how Anushka has been promoting the movie as Shashi, the friendly ghost who happens to be everywhere. Now, Shashi has entered the mansion of Shah Rukh in a bid to meet the superstar.

A short while ago, Anushka shared a video in social media. The video started with Shah Rukh Khan speaking about the non-existence of ghosts. The 51-year-old star quite bravely explained that the presence of ghosts is only a thing in our heads and these supernatural creatures didn’t exist. While SRK was showing how courageous he was, Shashi entered.

What happened next in the video will bring a smile to your face.

Shah Rukh Khan promoting Phillauri is a testimony of his camaraderie with Anushka. The actress debuted opposite SRK with the 2008 film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Post this, they also shared screen space in Yash Chopra’s last directorial Jab Tak Hai Jaan which released in 2012. The two stars will also be seen next in Imtiaz Ali’s next which will hit screens in August this year.

Coming back to Phillauri, the film is the second production venture of Anushka after NH10. The film directed by Anshai Lal is the love story of Shashi, whose love story remains incomplete in her life. How Shashi enters the life of Kanan who marries a tree, forms the crux of the film.

To promote Phillauri, Anushka has been trying many things. Off late we have seen how Anushka has been photoshopping Shashi on iconic events. Shashi was seen at the Oscars explaining the goof up, she was also seen on the poster of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and riding pillion to Amitabh Bachchan in Sholay‘s song. With the buzz Phillauri has created, it will really be interesting to see if the anticipation translates to Box Office numbers. The film is slated for a release on 24 March.
