Twitter's 'politely' reminding Shah Rukh Khan to give due credit for this tweet

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan introduced his upcoming movie, Aanand L Rai's Zero through a tweet but the lines were copied from elsewhere

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan introduced his upcoming movie’s title through a tweet in his usual witty style. Introducing Aanand L Rai’s Zero, he wrote ‘ टिकटें लिए बैठें हैं लोग मेरी ज़िंदगी की, तमाशा भी पूरा होना चाहिए!’ but Twitter spotted something wrong. Shah Rukh Khan picked up an author’s lines to introduce his movie’s title but forgot to give due credit.

The one-liner originally belongs to writer, Mithilesh Baria, and one of the first ones to point this out was renowned author and historian, Rana Safvi. Mithilesh has penned a popular Hindi book, ‘Choti Choti Baatein’.

Others followed suit. But unlike the usual distasteful trolling on social media, it was quite overwhelming to see that everyone was polite. May be considering the love for Shah Rukh Khan and his huge fan-following, Twitter wasn’t one bit obnoxious.

Hope Shah Rukh is paying attention.
