Dhruva overseas Box Office collection: Ram Charan film unaffected by Dangal storm, extra screens to be added

Here is a latest Box Office update on Ram Charan starrer Dhruva. The Telugu film is unaffected by Dangal's storming business

The Ram Charan blockbuster Dhruva is nearing its one-month theatrical release, but there is no stopping for the action-thriller at the overseas Box Office.

InUth had previously reported that Dhruva has minted Rs 75.25 crore worldwide at the end of its second week.

And the film has refused to slow down in its third week as well. The Ram Charan starrer has minted a good Rs 7.25 crore worldwide in its third week at the Box Office. The total collection of Dhruva now stands at a whopping Rs 82.50 crore at the Box Office worldwide.

Dhruva remained rock-steady at the overseas Box Office. The film is all set to cross the coveted $ 1.5 million mark at the US Box Office soon. The film was unaffected by Aamir Khan’s Dangal storm at the USA Box Office. And the good news for the makers is that additional screens are being planned for Dhruva in the coming weeks. It’s a remarkable feat considering that most of the Indian films struggle to maintain the screen count after the end of the second-week.

Dhruva has been praised for its brilliant script, stylish action and the performances of the cast, especially Arvind Swamy, who has reprised his role of the antagonist from Telugu film — Thani Oruvan. Ram Charan has portrayed Jayam Ravi’s role while Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead which was played by Nayanthara in its original.

The Box performance in the upcoming week will tell us a clear picture of Dhruva’s chances to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. His first Rs 100 crore grosser, Magadheera was released in 2009 and grossed Rs 151 crore worldwide.
