Diwali is set for an epic box office clash as Ajay Devgn’s action thriller ‘Shivaay‘ is set to lock horns with Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘. Both the films will release on 28 October 2016 so the results of ‘Shivaay vs ADHM’ are worth a wait. The trailer and songs of both the movie are becoming a rage among the fans.
The dialogues of the films are equally being loved by the fans. With just two days left for their release, it seems that the audience has made up their mind regarding which film they will go and watch first. The excitement level among the fans has gone up as the battlefield is set for the clash. Interestingly, people have already picked up ‘Shivaay‘ as their first choice.
In a poll conducted by ‘InUth’ on Facebook, we asked people about which movie they are looking forward to this weekend. The response came in a significant number and clearly Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay‘ is leading the race in terms of people’s choice. Out of 50 people who voted, 38 are looking forward to watching ‘Shivaay‘. Ajay Devgn’s death-defying stunts in the movie are one of the primary reasons why people want to watch the film.
Apart from the adrenaline rushing sequences, Ajay’s film has some breathtaking locations and the relationship of father-daughter has clearly attracted the audience. Karan’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ on the other hand, deals purely with relationships. On Twitter also, the response was interestingly the same. Nearly 61% people voted for ‘Shivaay‘ and 39% were in the favour of watching ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘. However, these are the early assumptions that will change in the coming days.

While Karan Johar’s film stars the heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and Fawad Khan alongside Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai, Ajay’s directorial debut will mark the debut of the grand niece of Saira Banu, Sayyeshaa Saigal and Erica Kaar. Karan’s movie is a refreshing take on love, friendship, and heart-breaks whereas Ajay Devgn’s film also deal with relationships. Both the movies are big in terms of budget and will be eyeing to enter 100 crore club as early as possible.
Both ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ and ‘Shivaay’ have a demarcated target audience and are of catering to a specific genre. Ajay’s ‘Shivaay‘ is a full entertainer masala film. Ranbir’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is very urban-youth centric. We wish both the films a very best of luck!
