Godha has been praised for Basil’s direction and the performances from its lead cast Tovino Thomas, Renji Panicker and most importantly the female lead of the film, debutant Wamiqa Gabbi, whose performance turned out best Malayalam performance of the year by a female lead after Parvathy in Take Off according to the audience. The film is also winning points for Vishnu Sharma’s cinematography which showcases the beautiful locations of Punjab, something rare to be seen in Malayalam films.
Godha has been released on 130 screens across Kerala and the advance booking trends on Saturday evening/night shows suggest that the film is all set to have a bountiful weekend at the Kerala Box Office.
