IIFA 2017 crisis: Anil Kapoor trolls the big Bollywood event for having no hosts at the green carpet -- Watch Video

IIFA 2017 in New York has kick started and Anil Kapoor was among the first Bollywood celebs to arrive at the green carpet but he did not seem happy

IIFA 2017 has kick started in New York with who’s who of the Indian film fraternity gracing the green carpet. This is the second time IIFA has gone to the USA. While all eyes are on who is wearing what, performances and the coveted winners’ list, something just happened at the green carpet that deserves a special look. Anil Kapoor, who was first among the Bollywood celebs to have registered his presence, was taken aback when he got to know that he has arrived even before the green carpet hosts.

Reportedly, the IIFA 2017 green carpet is being hosted by comedians Abish Mathews and Mallika Dua. The two were nowhere to be seen on the green carpet and taking a dig on the same, the Jhakaas star trolled the makers. He didn’t even spare the temporary host, who introduced himself as a Facebook employee. When Kapoor asked the man who was he and where were the hosts tonight, the man seemed to have freaked out. Owing to his super entertaining self, though, the Dil Dhadakne Do actor took the charge himself. He asked some fun questions to the man and gave him a few lessons on how to be a good host.

The funny part about the session remains Kapoor’s impromptu jest when the host asked him to react on how did he find his hosting skills. Anil Kapoor, who is known for his wit and a good sense of humour immediately replied, “good, you have a bright future but not better than me.” Watch the video here:
