Watch: 8-year old Sunny Pawar is India's latest export to Hollywood and his is the cutest interview you will see

Sunny Pawar is every eight year old in this innocence-laced interview.

While we go all gaga over Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone taking Hollywood by storm, this eight-year old on Access Hollywood Live is here to add to the club. Sunny Pawar has debuted in Hollywood with Dev Patel-Nicole Kidman starrer Oscar-nominated ‘Lion’.

Pawar came onto the show for an interview along with translator to help him make sense of what he was being asked. Upon being asked how he felt about attending award outings and which were the stars he wanted to meet, the eight year old innocently said he has no knowledge of Hollywood but as several WWE icons. Seeing himself on screen is what he defines as a feeling beyond words and his smile throughout the show won hearts and had both the anchors totally taken in by all the nonchalance.

Hailing from Mumbai’s Kalina area, Sunny Pawar lives in a single-room house with his parents and two siblings, sharing a bathroom with several others. He auditioned with 2,000 other kids from his slum and getting chosen for this role led to the beginning of his rags to riches story.

Garth Davis, the director of Lion, did the rounds of Mumbai schools along with casting directors to try and find the perfect child to play the role of Saroo, a lost boy, in the film. Sunny landed the role which traces the boy’s search for his parents.

Here’s hoping we get to see a lot more of Sunny in future and we shall leave you to now enjoy his adorable interview.
