Did you know Baahubali's Sivagami and Kattappa were romantically involved? This video is proof

In Bahubali, Kattappa was the loyal servant to the Queen mother Sivagami of Mahishmati. But this viral video paints a different picture

Sivagami and Kattappa have become two of the most popular fictional characters. The brainchild of writer KV Vijayendra Prasad, these characters were brought to life by SS Rajamouli in both parts of the magnum opus Baahubali. The warrior Kattappa was the loyal servant of the Queen mother Sivagami, but have you ever wondered what would have happened if they romanced each other? Well, it happened.

But there is a catch. Apparently, it was not Sivagami and Kattappa who romanced each other. It was the actors- Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj who did so. An advertisement of Ramya and Sathyaraj has resurfaced on the Internet. The advertisement for a clothing brand Pothys.

In the TVC, Sathyaraj plays the role of a ruler and Ramya his wife who had issues with his behaviour. Though the advertisement is Tamil and maybe many would not understand it, but the friendly banter between them that can be made out of their expressions will leave you in smiles.

In Baahubali, Sivagami and Kattappa’s bond garnered a lot of attention. In the first part, we saw, how Sivagami called for Kattappa when she was facing a coup and her authority was being challenged.  In the sequel of Baahubali: The Beginning, it was shown that Kattappa was the person who stepped up whenever Amrendra Baahubali’s actions were questioned by Sivagami.
