While our celebs had the privilege to attend the special screening of Aamir Khan’s Dangal, the audience is waiting eagerly for the film to release on Friday. And with all the amazing reviews, all this waiting is just killing us. Aamir Khan hosted the special screening of the film for his B-Town peeps, and since then the social media is flooded with their praises and congratulatory messages.

Most of the reviews say that it is one of the finest films of Bollywood and will stir up a storm at the Box Office. Not only this, our celebs also think that Aamir Khan deserves an Oscar for his performance in the film.

Direct by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal marks Aamir’s return to the silver screen after a gap of two years. The film is a biopic of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trains his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. Besides Khan, the film features Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.

Raja Sen, Rediff:

The movie teaches us where rainbows lie in wrestling, and while it is a celebration of true greats — and true grit — this isn’t about one sport. India needs to watch this film for the way it puts the ‘her’ in ‘hero.’
